Alex Di Curzio
Alex started dancing at four, the same age she started artistic gymnastics. She was a competitive gymnast until she was 12. Once she left gymnastics, she wanted to try something that connected her two passions of dance and gymnastics together. This is when she branched out and tried aerial silks. Although silks are her specialty, she also has experience in hammock, hoop, and trapeze. Her other dance experience includes jazz, acro, lyrical, theatre and hip hop and she still trains and performs with Take Flight Aerial and Acrobatic Troupe.
Alex has taught acro and aerial since 2008. She currently has her level one acro certification through Acrobatic Arts and jumps on every opportunity to travel and take workshops across Canada to expand her aerial knowledge. She looks forward to continuing to inspire her students at L.A. Dance Academy!
